I'm building self-paced learning for clinicians who want to increase their understanding of eating disorders. The focus is practical — less theory, more "here's what this actually looks like in a session and what to do about it."
General Eating Disorders
Are you a therapist, dietitian, doctor, or other clinical provider looking to have a greater understanding of eating disorders when you come in contact with them? I guarantee you have and will experience many clients with disordered eating or clinical eating disorders. Prompt identification and intervention is critical and you can be apart of that if you know what to look for and how to approach it.
Intersection of Eating Disorders and ADHD/neurodivergence
There is a real gap in professional training around the intersection of eating disorders and ADHD/neurodivergence. Most clinicians working in the ED space didn't get much — if any — preparation for what it looks like when these two things show up together in the same client. And they show up together more than most people realize.
Recovery doesn't end when treatment does. The day-to-day work of maintaining it — navigating meals, managing the mental noise, figuring out who you are when the eating disorder isn't running the show — that's real, and it doesn't come with a manual.
Self-paced content for people in or beyond the maintenance phase of recovery is in the works. Practical, honest, and built from both clinical experience and lived understanding of how hard this part actually is.
Loving someone with an eating disorder is its own kind of hard. You're trying to help without making things worse, saying the right thing without knowing what the right thing is, and often without much support of your own.
Content for family members, partners, and caregivers is part of what's coming. Not clinical training and not a substitute for your own theraputic support. Just supplemental, honest, practical guidance from someone who has spent 15+ years on the other side of these conversations.
